Experienced Coach Decides to Gain More Structured Approach and Credential:

I’ve been a coach for quite a while in the general sense of the word, but soon came to realize that I needed more---being on lots of ezine lists and coach support groups would not be enough.  I needed to “get a niche” with which I could bring value and feel comfortable.

Looking at my background and experience, which was mostly corporate, I thought about corporate coaching.  I let that percolate a while and in the meantime events in my full time job came along and gave me unwittingly, the information I needed.

You see, as my full time employer went through some changes, I realized from that that here was a real opportunity where I could give some value.  I saw lots of people who suddenly needed to start thinking about what they wanted from their job and career, and I heard people talking about downshifting and work life balance.  Suddenly career coaching was crying out to me.

So I enrolled in the ACCC program at Career Coach Institute.  Through taking the CCI training and focusing on the Authentic Vocation™ process of career discovery with my clients, I’ve already had success in a short timeframe helping people articulate their unique sense of self at work.  Thank you for your excellence in career coach training!  I have a successful business I truly LOVE!
